Number S_37892 Contact Hart,Patrick, Spherion Phone 334####### **Job Description** The Business Development Manager is responsible for increasing revenue through the growth and development of new, and existing accounts, as well as re-engagement of dormant accounts. Responsibilities: - Work with market leadership to develop and implement sales and service strategies for growing revenue at existing accounts and reengagement of dormant accounts - Regularly follow up with existing customers and actively placed employees - Track account metrics including turnover, fill rates, time to fill, revenue, applicant flow, etc.; identify opportunities for improvement; and work with market leadership to develop and implement solutions based on root cause analysis - Use the consultative sales strategy to effectively overcome client objections and maximize sales activity within assigned territory - Collaborate with appropriate internal resources to develop comprehensive sales and marketing materials tailored to assigned accounts - In conjunction with sales and market leadership, create and present formal sales and service presentations to existing customers and prospects - Collaborate with market leadership and recruiting staff to prioritize business needs and meet client service expectations - Maintain written documentation of sales/account activities in order to facilitate appropriate reporting - Enter new Job Orders and assign workers ensuring all information is accurate and requirements are met - Execute client visits ensuring customer satisfaction, safety and marketing objectives are met Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Skills: - Proficient with Google tools including Docs, Sheets, Slides & Mail; or similar programs (Microsoft office) - Sales presentation and persuasion skills - Effective rapport-building and relationship management skills - Demonstrated organizational and planning skills - Adaptability, flexibility and the ability to maintain effectiveness during change - Ability to work flexible/extended hours when necessary - Experience and ability perform root cause analysis and lead continuous improvement initiatives - Ability to effectively work autonomously with minimal management direction - Ability to take initiative and manage time effectively - Accurate and thorough - always following-through on all expectations and commitments Education: Bachelors Experience: 4-7 years Qualifications: - Four-year college degree or 3+ years of equivalent experience in a sales/service environment - Previous experience in the Staffing and Recruiting Industry is preferred - Proven history of success as a sales professional Are You Ready to Join the Ranks of the Happily Employed?
