SAIC is looking for an experienced **Systems Engineer** for the Close **Combat Weapon Systems Project Office** , Rapid Capabilities Product Office onsite support at Redstone Arsenal, AL.
The systems engineer will be responsible for the integration, installation, test, and documentation of current and future Loitering Munitions. The candidate for this position will perform the following subtasks: Perform loitering munitions systems requirements analysis and performance studies, formulate technical solutions and make recommendations for systems development, testing and integration. Perform and analyze operational testing against documented requirements and make recommendations/proposals for incorporating component design changes into DOD weapon systems. Monitor status of projects, prepare milestone status reports, and present status to program managers and client staff. Provide support to integrate and manage system architectures as directed by the Customer. Ensure cohesive, integrated systems architectures and ensure compliance with systems engineering processes to meet weapon system requirements. Provide assistance for developing technical documentation and configuration management that pertain to weapon systems architecture.
Bachelors and fourteen (14) years or more experience.
Experience in test planning and execution.
Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite.
Experience communicating with senior managers and industry teams.
Experience with Loitering Munitions or Class 1-3 UAS.
Familiar with Army Operations
Experience with Unmanned Aerial Systems
Familiar Tactical Missile Background
Must have an active Secret Security Clearance.
CONUS travel (1X-2X) monthly 3-5 days in duration.
